I hope you are experiencing the blessings of life, like I am. I love what I do, and the people that I have surrounded myself with.

When you wake up, are excited for your day? Can you hardly contain your gratitude? I can’t!

So, I’m going to give you a snapshot of my day.

I began my day with reading my devotional. Usually, I’m sitting in bed doing this. I’m currently reading Jesus Calling by Sarah Young, love it in a HUGE way. Then I check my inbox for my Morning Mentor Video by Mary Morrissey, my Mentor. Then, and this is new, I meditate for about 15 minutes. I’m still adjusting to that. I then think back to my devotional, bring it to mind. If I can’t, I re-read it, to really solidify it in my mind for the day. I also, begin thinking of what I’m especially grateful for, something that I barely have to think about, it’s something right there in the front of my thoughts.

After dropping my youngest off at school, I head out for a walk. I don’t always go the same way, or place. It’s whatever moves me.  Then, I head home and into my office, grabbing a cup of Earl Grey tea, and a huge water.

Currently I’m working on my event that will take place in the fall. It’s going to be so cool. I’m Super excited. Sometimes I call a business partner that lives accross the country from me. We touch base on developements, usually, we are, “Oh my gosh, I’m so excited, wait ’til I tell you what just happened.” We are very different, yet, love what we do. Our talents compliment each other.

Every other week I have a virtual date with my Mastermind Group.

We don’t live near each other, so it’s either online, cell phone, or SKYPE. Love my Mastermind, our collaboration is essential to each of our businesses. We each are so grateful for the relationships and the sharing of ideas.

I have my “Tea Time with Deanna“. That is my time I take talking with new potential mentoring clients.

I listen, and give something that they can do, that will move the needle, and make a difference in their lives. Quick 20 minutes, yet so meaningful for both myself and someone else. I also spend time mentoring my clients, which, you guessed it, I love it!

I write. Not enough. Even though I will put off writing until I have a “block” of time, I love it. Sometimes, when it’s on my calendar, I get to “meet” with my storytelling coach. Bruce is way more than that. We have never been able to get off the phone (Go To Meeting) quicker than 2 hours. I’m blessed, we have a mutual admiration society going on. Other times, I get to work with “my” 3rd graders. Tutoring and mentoring them. Once a week. I’m most blessed by spending time with them. I love listening to them and their dreams.

So, what does it have to do with you? Well, do you love your life? Your work? If not, don’t waste another day, go after what you want. Life is too short. We aren’t promised tomorrow.

  • Strength: Don’t wait for your life to be perfect to make a change. Change, so that your life can be perfect, for you.
  • Dignity: Begin your day reading something good for you. Volunteer. Do something just for yourself, (enjoy a cup of Earl Grey tea).
  • Grace: Don’t be too hard on yourself, forgive yourself for all wrong doings. Forgive someone else. Decide to love your life, and the people in your life.

If there is something holding you back from experiencing the feeling of “I love my life!” Go over and schedule, “Tea Time with Deanna”.

Share on FB what you love about your day.
