What Does Exercise Have to Do with Success?

We all know that exercise is important to our health.  We need to move our body. Did you know that some of the most successful people in business, attribute their commitment to exercise as the most important element of their success? That kind of shocked me. I would have thought they would say something like leadership.

Then I really reflected on this. I know that if I want something to change, I must change, and that change requires action. Physicality. There is a shift in our vibrational energy. Now, I’m not going to go all science on you, I’m a writer/trainer/mentor/expert on transformation and productivity. But please stick with me for a minute.

Dopamine  is a hormone and neurotransmitter of the catecholamine and phenethylamine families that plays a number of important roles in the human brain and body.

In the brain, dopamine functions as a neurotransmitter—a chemical released by nerve cells to send signals to other nerve cells. The brain includes several distinct dopamine systems, one of which plays a major role

in reward-motivated behavior.

It’s the last part that I want you to focus on. “…plays a major role in reward-motivated behavior.” If you are getting results that you want, you continue to do that which got you results. Let’s look at this from another angle. If you want more of something (success, prosperity, loving your life) you’ve got to take action which requires motion. Exercise is there.

There is all kinds of research to back this up. As always, if you MUST, Google this. Do your due diligence. Or, you could take my word for it. Listen to what your heart is telling you to do. Exercise. What form of exercise? Well, that’s up to you. It is the intention behind the action that carries the most weight (pun intended).

The purpose of these weekly blogs is to get you to think differently about your life as a dentist—to assist you in creating a full spectrum life of prosperity.
